A reminder about the next race: The North County Farmers cross-country races will be held at Balheary Park, Swords on Saturday next at 11.30am.
Men 5 miles and women 2.5 miles, with simultaneous but separate starts.
Registration at Fingallians GAA Club (at the Fingallians Roundabout). Note that this is a different venue for registration from previous years.
One thing that you can be sure about with this race is that you will have no trouble finding the place – there are always lots of directional signs.
If you need more details, contact Paul Barnwall (087-2329577) or Matt Dwyer (087-6780365).

The organisers always put a lot of effort into this race and I recommend it to you. You will probably get the opportunity to hurdle a few bales of hay on your way around.
Click on "read more"…. Annual membership:
The annual membership fee is now due. Cost is €15. As indicated previously, Richard Dunne has been working on setting up an online membership renewal method and I have tried it and it works. The payments processor is PayPal and their charges are 86c. Since the annual fee is so low and unchanged for several years now, it was decided that the charges should be added on so if you register online, you will pay €15.86. Nevertheless, we hope that people will use this payment method as it will save a lot of time for the overworked BHAA administration team. If you key in clean data, we will get clean data without further data input.
How it works: First you copy or click on the link below which brings you to the Membership 2009 data collection screen.
You will be asked to fill in the form which has the same details as the hard copy form. When you have finished entering the data, click on Submit. This sends your details to the BHAAA and will bring up a page saying Thank You. There is a link on that page saying “Buy Now”. When you click on that, you will be taken to the PayPal secure payments system. This is not part of the BHAA and is a significant international payments processor, owned by eBay. The BHAA does not receive or record your credit card details.
You then have the option of paying using your credit card only (option on the left hand side of screen) or of using your PayPal account (login on right hand side of screen). If you have had a PayPal account in the past, you may be prompted to use that and, if so, you will need your PayPal password which you can re-set if you have forgotten it etc.
When you have completed the payment process, you will receive an email from PayPal confirming that and the BHAA will then receive your payment. The charge of €15.86 will appear on your credit card statement as “PAYPAL *BUSINESSHOU”.
Give it a go.
Bye for now.
