Trinity Track 15 May 2008
There was a great evening’s running at Trinity last Thursday. Nice weather brought out a big crowd and, as expected, there were some very competitive races.
Highlights were the double for Terry McConnon (Marsh Ireland) in the 800m and mile in standards 1 to 8 and the family double for Crona Brady (KPMG) in the 800m and Aoife Brady (Standard Life) in the mile. Crescent Communications won the Optimeyes team trophy by a small margin ahead of Eircom. Click on "read more"…
We are greatly indebted to Cyril Smyth, Ray Fuller, Cyril Whyte, Leo Mahon and colleagues for arranging the facilities and organising the events. Cyril Smyth has taken the trouble to review the results after the event and the updated results are attached. Not alone that, Cyril has identified some instances where people did not get prizes that they were entitled to and he intends to try to distribute prizes to such people and uncollected prizes at the Intel race next Saturday. Cyril is to be congratulated for his determination to ensure fair play for all.
Richard Dunne has put some photos on the website at https://bhaa.ie/mediagallery/album.php?aid=49&sort=0.
Our next race will be the Intel 10km race on Saturday next at 11.00am at Leixlip. See flyer attached. Registration from 9.00am at the recreation centre in Intel. Coming from Dublin, go through Leixlip, it is on the far side of the town.
I still have to circulate the Government Services results from Dunboyne, sorry for the delay.
