NUI Maynooth XCountry 15 March 2008
Hello all, Just a quick reminder about Saturday’s race. It will be the NUI/AIB cross-country at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth on Saturday 15 March 2007 at 11.00am for the women’s race (2.5 miles) and 11.30am for the men’s race (4 miles). Note the early starts. Click on "read more"..
Don’t forget that this is the last race in the winter league and will determine the winners of all categories. In all of the leagues, the top places are not yet decided so those in the leading positions need to run on Saturday in order to protect their positions. Directions: When coming from the M4 motorway into Maynooth, you go through the town and out past the Manor Mills Shopping Centre. Then further up the Kil*censored* road, you turn right into the university sports complex where registration and changing facilities will be located. The race will be back at the other side of the main road in the college grounds, for which you have to cross over the bridge (on foot). Make sure you get the bank holiday weekend off to a good start at Maynooth. Further information is available from Eddie Hughes (01-4947960) or Maurice Timmins (01-4782317). Advance notice for your diaries: The last cross-country race of the season will be an innovative floodlit 5km race organised by North County Farmers in Malahide Rugby Club on Wednesday 26 March 2007 at 8pm. More details and directions will follow. Bye for now. The Editor
