NUI AIB 2013 Preview
The BHAA races take their first steps outside Dublin this Saturday as NUI and AIB host their cross country event within the grounds of historic Maynooth College. The first race is a 2 Mile race of ladies and with a second race for Men at 11.30 over 4 miles. Last years winners were Fiona Mahon(Teacher) and Paul Buckley (Army). Please note the parking instructions below
Directions from Dublin.
From the M4, leave motorway on the exit sign posted Straffan, Naas, Maynooth, then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit: Road – R406 (signposted Maynooth).
Continue straight to Maynooth village. At the traffic lights in the Square, turn left and continue down Main Street.
**Free Parking** North campus: Turn right at the traffic lights at the Roost. Follow the main road, as it turns left out of the town. The North campus is clearly signposted a few hundred metres along this road on your right.
**Metered Parking** South campus: Go straight ahead at the traffic lights at the Roost. The University gates are straight ahead. The college has advised us that paid parking is required here and that clamping may be in operation.
We recommend that people park in the North Campus and take the short walk to the registration in the Pugin Hall in the South Campus. Changing, showers etc are in the Casey Buildings, also on the South Campus.
All will be clearly signposted on the day.
