The feature to look up racepic365 photo's of yourself and others via the result page seems to be working well, but it relies on people uploading photo's from our races and also tagging the race number of poeple in the photos. I see loads of camera's at our races, but none of the photo's seem to appear online afterwards.

Darren from racepix has done up this guide on how you can upload and tag your own photos, so that they will appear via the BHAA/racepixs website.

While some people are happy with the technology of tagging, other may not, and i'm hoping someone who has a flickr account might step forward and become the contact person for uploading BHAA photo's to racepix from us. PM if your interesting in helping out in this area.

There were some great Photo's on the BHAA Site from the Garda Race last week (I think they were in Media Gallery under "What's new", don't see them there now and they don't appear to have been uploaded to Race.Pix ?, terrible shame if they weren't going to be used after someone going to the trouble of taking them.

mediagallery/album.php?aid=94&page=1 has the BHAA photos from the Garda race. check out racepix365 too as they have some excellent photos. I spotted some by Paddy Parrott on Flicker too

If people have photo's from the NUI/AIB race, please upload the images to flickr and add the following tags

* RacePix365
* nuiaib2010
* Individual Bib numbers that appear in the photo

The photo's should appear here then, and available to be linked from the results page

The plan is to upload our photo's to our media gallery and flickr, and by having the photo's on flickr it means nice people at racepixs will be able to index your race face. Anybody with a flickr account can add tags, so just add the persons race number.
